UREP-C - Undergraduate Research Experience Purdue - Colombia

Since Fall 2023, the Dauch Center has been actively collaborating with the UREP-C Program to support international research exchange. Thanks to this partnership, nine top Colombian students have come to Purdue to contribute to a range of manufacturing-focused projects. Their work spans across innovation, systems optimization, and applied research, reinforcing the center’s commitment to global collaboration and talent development.

What is UREP-C?

Undergraduate Research Experience Purdue-Colombia (UREP-C) is Purdue’s flagship research mobility program connecting top Colombian undergraduates with world-class faculty across disciplines. Since 2015, UREP-C has brought exceptional students to campus for hands-on research, academic mentorship, and cross-cultural exchange—often marking their first experience abroad.

The program strengthens global collaboration, fuels innovation, and prepares students for graduate study and leadership. For Purdue, it’s a gateway to global talent. For Colombia, it builds a new generation of research-driven change-makers. With plans to expand to Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru, UREP-C is setting the benchmark for international undergraduate engagement.
